[68Ga]Ga-rhPSMA-10.1 is a radiopharmaceutical agent consisting of a “radiohybrid” small molecule ligand labeled with gallium-68, designed for PET imaging of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-expressing cancers. It binds with high affinity to PSMA, a membrane protein commonly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells and tumor neovasculature. Upon intravenous administration, the compound targets PSMA-positive lesions, enabling sensitive tumor localization with PET. The radiohybrid scaffold allows labeling with diagnostic radionuclides such as ^68^Ga for imaging or other radionuclides for therapy. Preclinical and translational studies indicate it provides high tumor uptake and favorable pharmacokinetics for both imaging and dosimetry, applicable for prostate cancer staging, recurrence detection, and possibly other PSMA-expressing tumors[3].
